8th Grade students host a Revolutionary War Immersion Project Expo!
Reading about history is one thing, living it is quite another!
Students have studied the events of the Revolutionary War.They began with a study of the people to develop a character from that time period. Each time they learned of a new event, they took the time to reflect on the event from their characters eyes and respond to it based on who they were, where they lived, their life experience, etc. This expo will have the artifacts, letters, and other pieces developed by the students on display. Each piece will represent their character and their experience of the events. Students will be demonstrating their knowledge of the events to the audience. All GMS students and staff have the opportunity to visit the expo and learn a little history!
